Taurus Engineering produces a broad range of Electrical Wellhead Feedthru Mandrel designs; from simple Feedthrus to fully certified, Class I, Division 1, explosion-proof systems.

Numerous variations are provided in order to accommodate the wide variety of Wellhead designs and customer preferences found in today’s oil field. Taurus Mandrels connect to Surface Pigtails and Lower Connnectors to form a traditional three piece electrical system.

The Mandrels shown below are just a sample of the wide variety of designs Taurus produces for traditional three-piece electrical wellhead systems. Taurus engineering staff is on hand 24/7/365 to custom design a Mandrel that will accommodate any wellhead System, regardless of dimension or uniqueness.

Traditional Mandrels are available with a variety of options, with several factors contributing to each unique Mandrel design. Taurus Mandrels are shipped standard with Thread Protectors. Pressure Plugs are also available when required. Solid “Dummy Mandrels” are available as well.

Taurus also provides Redress Kits that allow an end-user to effectively clean and re-use Mandrels for a considerable savings of time and cost.

All Taurus Mandrels, regardless of certification, are engineered to be explosion proof. In addition to rigorous design testing, each Mandrel is current and pressure tested well beyond field and certification maximums to insure quality.
